NanoH2O is renamed LG NanoH2O

The name change follows the company’s acquisition earlier this year by Korean chemical giant LG Chem Ltd.

Founded in 2005, NanoH2O manufactures reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for seawater desalination. The company introduced the industry’s first thin-film nanocomposite (TFN) RO membrane which features benign nanoparticles designed to increase membrane productivity and salt rejection.

“This is the beginning of yet another chapter,” said LG NanoH2O president Chul Nam. “The synergy of the NanoH2O and LG brands is going to propel us to become the market leader in RO membrane technology. Customers will see a surge in commercial growth and product development from LG NanoH2O, along with enhanced customer and technical support from our growing network of offices, representatives and distributors.”

LG NanoH2O is headquartered in Los Angeles, California, USA and is a wholly owned company of LG Chem Ltd.
