Hyflux Ltd has officially opened its new global headquarters in Singapore.
The Hyflux Innovation Centre (HIC) houses the company’s engineering design and technology commercialisation departments that integrate the technologies developed at the group’s research and development (R&D) laboratories, as well as executive and corporate offices.
The Hyflux R&D laboratories, which are currently located at the Hyflux Building on Kallang Bahru, will be progressively moved to HIC when the lease at the Hyflux Building runs out.
“HIC will provide the platform that is crucial for a fast growing company like Hyflux to power ahead in the technology race and position us strongly for the next phase of the company’s growth,” said Olivia Lum, executive chairman and CEO of Hyflux. “We believe that the next phase of Hyflux’s growth is innovation based and we need to do better with less.”
