Surges succeeds Rick Jacobs who has been named president, Hydraulics Business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“Successfully executing the growth strategy for our filtration business is critical,” said Bill VanArsdale, president of Eaton’s Hydraulics Group. “Mary Jo has solid strategy and business development experience, and we look forward to her joining our Filtration team to bring that business to the next level.”
Surges has been with Eaton for 11 years, most recently as the vice president of business development for the Industrial Sector. Prior to working at Eaton, she was general manager of Parker Hannifin Corp’s Nichols Portland Division and vice president and general manager of Pentair Corp’s Water Systems Division.
Surges will be based at the Filtration business offices in Tinton Falls, New Jersey and will report to VanArsdale.
