Toray Industries Inc is planning to establish a new company in Foshan, China for the production and sale of water treatment membrane products including reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration, microfiltration and membrane bioreactor solutions.
Toray Membrane (Foshan) Co Ltd (TMFC) will also undertake related R&D and technical services.
TMFC will be located next to the Toray Polytech (Foshan) Co Ltd premises, that is currently under construction in Foshan for the polypropylene spunbond business. This will facilitate the sharing of management and systems infrastructure.
Toray already has water treatment membrane production and sales companies in Beijing and Yancheng.
