Cambridge Water Technology makes BioMag and CoMag technology which increases the rate of solids removal and enhances the capacity and contaminant removal performance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
Compared to conventional technologies, Cambridge Water Technology’s products require less than half of the footprint and increase the capacity of existing treatment systems by two to three times without adding any new tankage. The technologies can also effectively manage high wet weather flows and enable enhanced nutrient removal at less cost. They are suitable for use in new installations as well as upgrades and retrofits for a variety of municipal and industrial applications.
Cambridge Water Technology is expected to be combined with Siemens’ municipal wastewater business and will continue to operate out of Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. The company’s senior managers, Charles Hamlin, Steve Woodard, and Andy Bishop, are also joining the Siemens business unit’s management team.
