Headquartered in Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Unitek has been producing standard and custom solutions for water treatment and reuse since 1993. The engineering project developer applies membrane-based technologies including reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration and membrane bioreactors for applications ranging from the demineralization of seawater to the reuse of wastewater and has more than 700 pieces of equipment installed in South, Central and North America.
Unitek joins RWL Water portfolio companies Aeromix, Eurotec WTT and Nirosoft.

When the deal closes Unitek will be majority-owned by RWL Water. Unitek’s founders will retain a minority equity interest and continue to grow the business as RWL Water partners in their current positions with Unitek.
