Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) is transferring the membrane-related technology development and sales currently undertaken by its subsidiary Mitsubishi Chemical Aqua Solutions Co Ltd (MCAS) to its own operations from 1 April 2021.

The aim of this transfer and consolidation is to increase the operational efficiency of the membrane business.

Until now, MCC has been responsible for membrane manufacturing, while MCAS has undertaken membrane technology development and sales.

With the transfer of technology development and sales, MCC will take responsibility for the membrane business, while MCAS will specialise in services such as the construction, sale and maintenance of water treatment systems incorporating the membranes.
