Schwaikheim, Germany-based InnoWa Membrane manufactures high-performance filter systems based on membrane technology. The company emerged from the former EBG GmbH and employs 20 people.
Under Mahle ownership, InnoWa Membrane will now operate as Mahle InnoWa GmbH, headquartered in Stuttgart.
Mahle Industry will integrate InnoWa Membrane into its Industrial Filtration division creating a new platform focused on water treatment.
“By acquiring InnoWa Membrane, we are opening up new areas of application for our company in the field of filtration, such as the increasingly important segment of water treatment,” said Dr Michael Matros, corporate executive vice president and general manager of Mahle Industry.
