De.mem runs commercial-scale pilot projects

Singapore-headquartered De.mem has completed the set up of several pilot water treatment plants designed to validate its proprietary low pressure hollow fibre nanofiltration (NF) membrane technology.

The nanofiltration membrane technology was developed at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore.

The commercial-scale pilot plants for treatment of industrial waste water and potable water generation mark the start of the use of the De.mem nanofiltration membrane in commercial projects.

The technology was licensed to De.mem in 2016 and is reported to allow for lower operating costs and reduced investment than other technologies.
