The Biorem systems ordered include two custom-designed biofilters and one modular biofilter using Biorem’s proprietary Biosorbens media which will be installed at wastewater treatment plants.
One Biorem system will treat 8000 cfm of air produced from equalization tanks, the second will treat 21 000 cfm of air produced from sludge holding tanks and a dewatering facility, and the third will treat hydrogen sulfide concentrations from a headworks building. The fourth Biorem system is a multi-stage biotrickling filter designed to treat hydrogen sulfide at a wastewater treatment facility's lift stations.
