Sequentially, deal activity increased substantially in the second quarter of 2016 with 11 transactions compared to only six in the first quarter of 2016. According to the Global Equity Consulting/City Capital Advisors report, the deal volume in the first quarter of 2016 was the lowest level of activity in any quarter in the last five years.
