Mann+Hummel announces preliminary sales for 2017

The Mann+Hummel Group has met its own forecast with preliminary sales of Euro3.9 billion in 2017.

The filter company says that it intends to further strengthen its competitiveness with acquisitions to open up new markets and through measures to increase efficiency.

“This year we will continue to drive forward the realignment of the company,” said Alfred Weber, CEO and chairman of the Mann+Hummel management board. “In addition to the automotive and industrial business, we will increase our impact in the newly created Life Sciences & Environment division. In the coming years, we will be able to position ourselves even more broadly in the attractive filtration market.”

As part of its realignment, Mann+Hummel is working on alternative drives, sustainability and digitalization.

In January 2018, Mann+Hummel presented its range of digital products and innovative services for the first time at the consumer electronics show CES 2018 in Las Vegas, USA. Mann+Hummel was named a CES 2018 Innovation Awards Honoree for its Senzit digital air filter monitor.
