The frame agreements, worth SEK200 million, will see deliveries over a three-year period starting from late 2017.
The booking of call-off orders will be timed with the ships’ dry-docking schedules.
From 8 September 2017, newly built vessels must have a ballast water treatment system, while existing vessels need to install one when they next dry dock. Ships normally dry dock every five years.
