Techtextil North America took place at the end of August and after almost 18 months of virtual business dealings due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the US textile industry gathered in-person for this highly anticipated reunion.
Techtextil North America 2021 saw strong attendance, and decision makers from all major industries that touch technical textiles and nonwovens attended the event to conduct business, reunite with industry contacts, and discover the latest technological developments and trends shaping the industry as it approaches a post-pandemic world.
This year, visitors included top industry executives, buyers, engineers, technical directors, plant managers and product development managers, from leading brands and educational features such as the Techtextil North America Symposium, the Student Research Poster Programme and the Academy, were all huge successes.
Symposium sessions almost sold out and the Poster Programme attracted students from top textile engineering programmes who presented their research. The Academy featured the latest scientific developments in technical textiles and nonwovens and popular sessions covered antiviral and antimicrobial textiles and textile treatments, while the sessionTesting Water Resistance of PPE Fabrics, was also popular.
Techtextil North America 2022 will take place in Atlanta from 17-19 May 2022.
