The Puritech Finefilter is designed to remove organic particles from seawater using pure polypropylene filter cartridges, with selected pore size ratings in two stages, within one vessel.
The technology also allows automated reconditioning of the cartridges to regularly restore filtration efficiency, with a throughput of 254 cubic metres per hour, and sitting on a skid measuring just 6m x 4.5m x 8m.
The contract was delivered through energy services company Aibel AS, with fabrication contracted to Stryvo Bismo AS.
