Outotec has signed a contract worth more than €50 million to deliver an iron ore pelletizing plant and filters for the expansion of an Indian customer’s existing operations.
The Outotec scope of delivery includes basic engineering and process technology for a traveling grate pelletizing plant, key process equipment and 11 filter presses for dewatering of concentrate as well as advisory services for erection and commissioning.
The new pellet plant, which will have efficient heat recovery, is expected to be commissioned at the end of 2019.
