Nakamura has a background in the cutting tool industry and has previously served as managing director for Walter Japan, a manufacturer of tool grinding machines.
“The number of Transor users in Japan continues to grow, and having a direct sales/service staff headed up by Mr Nakamura is a great step forward in strengthening our position for current and future customers,” said Transor president Irv Kaage.
“With this office and Mr Nakamura’s extensive background in the cutting tool industry, we’re excited to be able to expand our technology to the Japanese market,” added Kaage.
Headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, Transor Filter provides filtration solutions for a range of manufacturing applications such as grinding, honing, lapping, super finishing and EDM.
Transor Filter currently has units in over 30 countries.
