The Micronics Engineered Filtration Group (Micronics Filtration Holdings Inc) includes wet and dry engineered filtration companies Micronics Inc, Southern Filter Media LLC, CP Environmental LLC, United Process Control Inc and the AeroPulse brand of APC equipment.

Faulkner was most recently president of Pall Filter Specialists Inc. He headed up Filter Specialists Inc (FSI) for more than 12 years, prior to its acquisition by Pall Corp in 2014. Faulkner has also had experience in other businesses including interactive software and computerized machining systems; compressed air filtration and dehydration equipment; injection molds and large plastic products; and electrostatic finishing.

“I am excited to be leading the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group at this time in the company’s history. I am committed to ensuring that we consistently exceed the expectations of our customers with innovative, high-quality engineered filtration products and services,” said Faulkner.

“Under the 12-year period of Mr Faulkner’s leadership at FSI, the company enjoyed a solid 8% annual sales growth. It is noteworthy this was achieved without the benefit of product or company acquisitions. Bernie’s success in leading an organic growth strategy at FSI makes him the ideal executive to lead a profitable growth strategy at the Micronics Engineered Filtration Group and we are looking forward to his contributions,” said Michael Janish, partner at Vance Street Capital.

Micronics has been a portfolio company of Los Angeles-based private equity firm Vance Street Capital since 2013.

Faulkner holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
