Japan’s Hitachi Zosen Corp took a majority stake in Osmoflo Holdings Pty Ltd, the Australian desalination and wastewater treatment company.

JWC Environmental to acquire FRC Systems

JWC Environmental bought industrial wastewater process design and equipment company FRC Systems International.

AAF Flanders to acquire Aire Filter Products

American Air Filter Co Inc (AAF International) and its subsidiary Flanders Corp are acquiring Phoenix, Arizona-based Aire Filter Products (AFP), one of the oldest HVAC air filter service companies in the USA.

Pentair acquires Union Engineering

Pentair plc bought Union Engineering A/S from Danish private equity fund Capidea and a number of minority shareholders. Headquartered in Fredericia, Denmark, Union Engineering specialises in sustainable technologies for capturing, recovering and purification of carbon dioxide. The company employs around 185 people, and has sales offices in China, Brazil and the US.

Parker Hannifin completes US$4.3bn acquisition of Clarcor

Parker Hannifin Corp sealed its acquisition of filter maker Clarcor Inc for approximately US$4.3 billion in cash, including the assumption of net debt. Clarcor joins Parker Hannifin’s Filtration Group adding proprietary media, industrial and process filtration products and technologies, as well as a broad portfolio of replacement filters.

Filtration Group completes acquisition of Essentra’s Porous Technologies business

Filtration Group Corporation closed its acquisition of Essentra plc’s Porous Technologies business, a developer and manufacturer of custom fluid handling components. Filtration Group brands already include AG Industries, Air System Products, Buffalo Filter, Clear Edge Filtration, Filtrair, Filtran, Filtration Group Finishing, Filtration Group HVAC, IBS Filtran, Global Filter, Jonell, Kaydon, Porex, Purafil, Universal Air Filter, Waco and Zinga.

Suez and CDPQ to acquire GE Water in €3.2bn deal

French utility Suez and Canadian institutional investor Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) entered into a binding agreement to purchase GE Water & Process Technologies from General Electric Co for an enterprise value of €3.2 billion.

RWL Water completes Acquavit acquisition

RWL Water acquired Brazilian water and wastewater treatment company Acquavit Comércio E Indústria de Sistemas De Tratamento De Água Ltda. Acquavit has been renamed RWL Water Brasil.
