Nonwoven industry event hailed a major success

More than 130 exhibitors and 1,400 delegates attended a conference and training course focusing on nonwoven media for air and liquid filtration.

For the first time, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry’s (INDA) Filtration2014 International Conference & Exposition combined with the Nonwoven Filter Media Training Course at a two-day event held in Baltimore, United States.

“The event gave us a superb opportunity to make invaluable connections, showcase our products, gain high-quality prospects and highlight our new products to an extremely targeted audience of filter media professionals,” said Per Lindblom, global product marketing director at battery separator specialist Hollingsworth & Vose.

The training course sold out with 40 professionals attending. It covered the principles of filtration, market and technology trends along with the growing potential of filter media products.

“This successful event demonstrated our commitment to bringing together high-quality education, training and connections in one location to advance the success of filtration professionals,” said INDA president Dave Rousse.

INDA also announced Filtration 2015 will take place in Chicago from November 17-19.
