INDA runs nonwoven filter media training course

The INDA says that the new course is designed for industry professionals who want to learn about the development, testing and application of nonwovens in filtration. This will include: Properties of nonwoven filter media; Raw materials for nonwoven filter media; Processes for nonwoven filter media; Testing of nonwoven filter media; Liquid filtration applications; Air filtration applications; Engine filtration; Filtration mechanisms and theory; Standards and regulations pertinent to nonwoven filter media.The instructor for the course is Marshall Hutten, industry expert and filtration industry veteran for over 45 years. Hutton is the author of Handbook of Nonwoven Filter Media, first published in 2007. He earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. His career includes leadership positions at Hollingsworth &Vose, James River Corporation and Dexter Corporation.
