During the shutdown Ahlstrom was able to supply its customers from the Louveira inventory, which was not damaged in the floods. Ahlstrom also started to import filtration material from its North American and European plants.
The Louveira plant, which produces transportation filtration materials, is located approximately 100 km from Sao Paolo and is part of Ahlstrom’s Filtration Business Area.
