Filtration specialist Mann+Hummel is showcasing its latest technology at ComVac this week, where its focus is on filtration systems for industrial businesses.

ComVac is taking place at Hannover Messe and Mann+Hummel will display its StarBox series for air and oil separation of compressors, the Entaron series of air cleaners for compressors and its spin-on filter concept, Wavelock.

The StarBoxXT and the StarBox2are the new spin-on separators from Mann+Hummel for air and oil separation of compressors. The series ensures clean compressed air, reduces plant energy consumption and is designed for a wide flow range.

The Entaron CD expands Mann+Hummel’s portfolio of single-stage air cleaners in the area of 2-8 m3 per minute. It can be used with low to medium dust loads while the Entaron HD 4 VAC is for operating conditions with high dust loads. The filter is designed for vacuum pumps and has a pressure tightness down to a negative pressure of 500 millibar with an ambient temperature of 21º.

The company’s Wavelock spin-on filter concept has been developed for use in off road applications and can be mounted to the engine or the chassis. A key element of the design is a bayonet lock which securely joins the filter head to the spin-on filter. Mann+Hummel will soon be offering the Wavelock spin-on filters as a modular system.
