A trade delegation of companies from the UK who work the water and desalination sector will visit Oman on March 26, the Times of Oman (March 17) has reported.

The report quotes the British Ambassador to the Sultanate, James Bowden: "We have a dozen companies travelling to Oman from the United Kingdom for this trade mission. Our UK Trade & Investment team regularly posts business opportunities on desalination and wastewater management for the attention of the UK trade sector and have received strong levels of interest from the UK water sector."

The trade mission aims to engage with end-users, contractors and consultants in the water sector to understand the market and its opportunities, the report says.
