In this newly created position, Iyengar will lead Xylem’s global R&D, technology and innovation activities. She will report to Xylem president and CEO Patrick Decker and will be based at the company’s global headquarters in Rye Brook, New York.
Iyengar will work closely with Xylem’s senior leadership team to accelerate the company’s customer-driven innovation agenda to drive growth.

Iyengar joins Xylem from Eaton Corp, where she most recently served as group vice president, Engineering and Technology for the company’s Aerospace Group, and chief technology officer.
