Donaldson Company, the Minnesota manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, has announced the winners of the Company's 12th Annual Inventor Awards given to employees whose work on various technology innovations have contributed to its success.The Richard M Negri Manufacturing Excellence Award is given to Donaldson employees who have created and implemented significant process technology and/or product improvements for the company's manufacturing operations. This year's winner is Rodney Switzer, a manufacturing engineer based in Nicholasville, KentuckyIn the Emerging Innovator Award category - recognising innovative technical leadership from those with fewer than 10 years of experience at Donaldson - Suresh Shenoy, corporate technology, Sr. principal scientist, based in Bloomington, MN took the prize.
The Technology Champion Award - for an individual who advances a technology or process against popular opinion - was won by Brian Mandt, Engine Liquid Filtration, Aftermarket Applications Engineering Manager, based also in Bloomington, MN.
In addition, several employees won the Technology Achievement Award.
"Our product engineering, technology, and operations staffs around the world have been instrumental in continually developing the new filtration technologies that meet our customers' evolving needs," said Bill Cook, Donaldson's CEO. "Their hard work, dedication, and superior results are essential for our continued success.''
