StormwateRx LLC, a Portland, Oregon-headquartered manufacturer of stormwater treatment systems, is now part of Canada’s Newterra Group Ltd.

With its Clara, Aquip, Purus and Zinc-B-Gone products, StormwateRx offers passive, modular solutions to keep site water discharge quality within prescribed limits.

Newterra specializes in modular treatment solutions for water, wastewater, and groundwater. Stormwater treatment adds a new water treatment application to the Newterra portfolio.

“Since we first visited StormwateRx, it seemed like a perfect match for both companies,” said Tom Vossman, CEO of Newterra. “Stormwater treatment is becoming increasingly necessary to keep our streams, rivers, and lakes clean. We were impressed by the company’s simple, modular focus on solving tough problems for its customers. The market is expanding beyond just the industrial sector and we believe by combining our two companies we can take advantage of numerous growth opportunities.”

“Joining Newterra will allow StormwateRx customers access to a broader range of new treatment technologies, and allow our products to be sold through their expansive and growing sales network,” said Calvin Noling, president and founder of StormwateRx. “By combining the two companies, we will be able to penetrate new vertical industry sectors and geographies. Our philosophy of packaging equipment in a prefabricated, modular solution complements Newterra’s vision.”
