Special issue: Desalination using renewable energy

Elsevier's Desalination journal is putting together a special issue entitled Desalination using Renewable Energy.
Elsevier's Desalination journal is putting together a special issue entitled Desalination using Renewable Energy.

The issue will include existing and future desalination systems using solar, wind, geothermal and sea (waves, tides, salinity gradient) among other possible sources of energy. Authors are also encouraged to consider hybrid systems that include use of waste heat in concert with renewable energy systems.

Experimental, modeling of fundamental or applied research as well as review papers focusing on new concepts using conventional or novel processes or a combination of processes are welcome.

Complete manuscripts must be submitted through the journal website no later than 31 August 2017. 

Submission guidelines

Original manuscripts can be submitted according to the Guide for Authors published on the Desalination website. Authors are invited to follow the link Submit your Paper and submit the manuscript to Article Type 'SI:Des Renewable Energy' in Desalination.

Please mention the name of the Special Issue in the cover letter. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed in accordance with the journal's policies.
