Solid/liquid filtration from assonic at Filtech

Part of the Dorstener Drahtwerke group, assonic will be showcasing its RoSL 700, a centrifugal liquid-solid separator with ultrasonic excitation, suitable for applications in the plastics, food, metal and other industries.

The system offers low energy consumption and versatility, especially in the pre-filtration process, the clarification and thickening of dissolved solids as well as the dehydration of solids, powders and organic matter.  Depending on process requirements, the RoSL 700 can be operated with sintered stainless steel mesh laminates, woven wire mesh filtration media or wedge wire filters. These are used as stainless steel filter baskets optimised for optimal ultrasonic energy transportation. The screen is firmly bonded to the stainless basket and allows optimal ultrasonic energy transportation for filtration from 20 – 2.000 µm.

For fine filtration, high-frequency waves of 30 – 38 kHz are used which impart flow-like properties to the filtration material and ensure fast, continuous transfer through the filter medium. Products can be reliably filtered or pre-filtered, for example highly viscous chocolate material with 1,500 kg/h and up to 6,000 kg/h of suspension with 40% solids content.

The assonic team will be at Booth A14 in Hall 11.1 at Filtech.
