Purafil Inc. has appointed Thomas Ramsey as director of Business Development. He has more than 30 years of global experience in marketing, sales and business development of high technology filtration and separations products to industrial, healthcare, consumer, and laboratory markets. In his new role at Purafil, he will focus on the development of strategic business relationships and commercialising Purafil products and services within a newly formed business unit identified as Purafil Scientific, and across the company.
Prior to joining Purafil, Mr. Ramsey spent eleven years with Porex Corporation as vice-president of Marketing for the Porous Products Group, and he served as vice-president and general manager for the Porex Filtration Division where he focused on optimising global business opportunities. He has also worked with Pall Corporation, where his positions included director of Sales and Marketing for the Industrial Fluids Microfiltration division and vice-president of Marketing and Business Development for their Pall Medical division.
