New CEO for AAF International

Whitaker is responsible for AAF’s day-to-day business operations, with a key focus on improving business performance in line with strategic business objectives. He reports directly to the Global Operations Division of AAF International’s parent company Daikin Industries Ltd.

Whitaker brings more than 25 years of global HVACR experience to AAF, including 13 years in Asia Pacific, China and the Middle East. Prior to joining AAF, Whitaker was president of Camfil Farr Asia and Middle East.

Phil will be a key asset to AAF in achieving our goal to be the preferred supplier of clean air solutions,” said Yoshihiro Mineno, general manager, Global Operations Division, Daikin Industries Ltd.

Based in Louisville, Kentucky, AAF International designs, develops and manufactures air filtration solutions for commercial, industrial, cleanroom, transportation and nuclear power applications. The company has 21 manufacturing facilities, five R&D centres and more than 3000 employees worldwide.
