Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Sterling Heights, Michigan, RoboVent is a leader in air pollution control solutions for industrial fume, dust and mist control applications, with over 100 employees located throughout the US, Canada and Mexico. RoboVent will now become part of Nederman's Extraction & Filtration Technology Division.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Nederman’s North American position by becoming the number one player within the US weld fume extraction segment.

“We continue to strengthen our abilities to deliver on our mission to protect people, planet and production from harmful effects of industrial processes. With this acquisition we strengthen our position in the US significantly,” says Sven Kristensson, CEO of Nederman Group.

“We have experienced good market development in North America during recent years. With the acquisition of RoboVent we better position ourselves for continued growth by becoming the number one supplier of industrial air filtration and air purification in the US welding market,” says Hans Dahlén, SVP and Head of the Extraction & Filtration Technology Division at Nederman.
