MANN+HUMMEL launched its new Pro ATEX product series for air conditioning and ventilation systems for use in explosive atmospheres at the recent 2018 Chillventa trade fair.
The series is suitable for high air flow rates and temperatures up to 120°C, acc. to ISO 16890 and to the filter categories specified by EN 1822. The filters meet the latest requirements of fire protection classification acc. to EN 13501 E d0. The first products are already available, and the series will be extended in 2019.
The Pro ATEX series can be used with flammable gases, vapours and mist in zones 0, 1 and 2 and for dust in zones 20 to 22. The series covers the device categories 1 to 3. For dust the series can be used with the explosive atmosphere groups III A and B and for gases and vapours in explosive atmosphere groups II A to C.
MANN+HUMMEL has extensive experience in the field of process air filtration and especially with filter systems which are conductive, and the company says it can offer flexible solutions and technical support for all fields of applications.
