Launch of MegaMagnum and Puron systems

The MegaMagnum RO and NF systems use spiral-wound membrane elements which reduce the complexity, footprint, and installation time of municipal and industrial water treatment systems. The MegaMagnum is space saving and and the MegaMagnum elements allow for an 80% reduction in the required number of interconnectors and O-rings, resulting in increased operational reliability and further reducing maintenance costs.

Koch Membrane Systems make the MegaMagnum in four configurations with nominal flow capacities ranging from 0.5 to 2.0 million gallons per day. MegaMagnum is ideal for applications such as large-scale industrial and municipal RO and NF applications, such as brackish water desalination, removal of inorganic contaminates (such as nitrates, arsenic and radium), softening, organic removal, water reuse, high-quality process water production and wastewater recycling.

Puron is a 1500-square meter module designed for MBR applications and features greater membrane packing density, lower energy costs for aeration, and simplified installation. Additional features such as an optimized permeate extraction manifold and air supply lines reduce the number of piping connections during installation. For additional flexibility, the new product line enables users to easily retrofit the advanced Puron technology into systems with comparably sized modules.
