At the Kovalus Technology Centre (KTC), a team of experienced process engineers will support customers from the earliest project phases. Through targeted membrane screenings and validation of individual process concepts, the team will deliver process data that allows for a joint evaluation of technical and economical feasibility. Based on this foundation, tailor-made separation solutions are developed to meet specific customer requirements precisely.

At the heart of the KTC is a state-of-the-art laboratory performing separation tests ranging from membrane screening, to full process trials, supported by a broad range of advanced analytical tools. In addition, the KTC houses Kovalus’ European pilot plant fleet – comprising more than 20 specialized systems that can be flexibly deployed in the next phase of process development and operated directly at customer sites.

The KTC will also serve as a platform for knowledge exchange. Workshops and training sessions for partners and professionals from Europe and Africa are planned, with a thematic focus on membrane filtration applications – especially in food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and industrial and municipal water and wastewater treatment.

Martin Awe, General Manager Europe & Africa at Kovalus Separation Solutions, said: “The KTC allows us to support our customers best in the early stages of new or complex processes by bringing together detailed data analysis, comprehensive process expertise, and decades of practical experience at a single spot, called KTC.”
