Hydrogen Mem-Tech appoints new CEO

Hanne Martinussen, chief operating officer of Hydrogen Mem-Tech, has been named CEO of the Norwegian separation technology company.

Thomas Reinertsen is stepping down after seven years at the helm of Hydrogen Mem-Tech to take on a new challenge as CEO of the family-owned company Reinertsen New Energy.

“I am delighted that Hanne has agreed to take over as CEO of Hydrogen Mem-Tech,” said Reinertsen. “She is highly competent, has an in-depth understanding of our product and manufacturing processes from her role as COO, and is a fantastic ambassador for our company.”

Reinertsen will join the board of Hydrogen Mem-Tech to ensure continuity in the company’s development and support further financing efforts. 

“On behalf of the board, we would like to thank Thomas for his contributions. We are pleased that Hanne will now lead the company in line with our strategy,” said Thor Egil Five, chairman of  Hydrogen Mem-Tech board. 

Trondheim-headquartered Hydrogen Mem-Tech offers a unique separation technology for extracting hydrogen from gas mixtures for various applications.
