The order includes plant engineering and all main equipment, including filters.
“Equatorial Guinea and the surrounding region have been relying on imported cement - thereby suffering from high prices and constraints. This plant will be serving the local market as well as neighbouring countries. FLSmidth is pleased to contribute to the development towards self-sufficiency in cement in the region, which will support social and infrastructure developments. Such an order is based on good customer relations and a professional approach,” said FLSmidth group executive vice president Per Mejnert Kristensen.
