Filtration+Separation March issue – online now

In the March 2023 issue of Filtration+Separation magazine, we focus on air filtration in schools, research & development at NTU Singapore, sustainable filter media and cabin air filtration.

Indoor air quality in schools has become a major concern in recent years with factors such as pollution and the impact of Covid-19 highly significant. Our cover story - Back to school approach for air filtration - looks at how filtration is playing a key role in protecting the health of students.

In a new series on universities, we put a spotlight on Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), a research-intensive public university and home to the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI).

Filtration technology can be a key tool for lowering the impact of damaging phenomena such as sewage or stormwater. But as we discover in Sustainability key to boosting filter performance, the filters themselves can play a major role in reducing environmental impact while still delivering optimal results.

We also look at how car manufacturers are now installing advanced filtration systems to ensure the comfort and safety of occupants in the face of a wide range of pollutants.
