Founded in 1976 and based in Santee, California, Olson serves its two primary markets – agricultural irrigation and industrial process – through direct and third-party representatives.
Olson will become part of Evoqua’s Aquatics and Disinfection division. The Olson business is also a major supply partner to Evoqua’s VAF product line, which is also part of the Aquatics and Disinfection division.
“Olson has been a trusted partner of Evoqua and our VAF business for years,” said Evoqua CEO Ron Keating. “We are very pleased to strengthen that relationship and to work even closer to drive growth across a variety of key markets.”
Meanwhile Evoqua has also acquired ADI Systems, Lange Containment Systems and Geomembrane Technologies from Canada’s ADI Group Inc. Based in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, ADI Systems provides a range of wastewater treatment and waste-to-energy solutions for industries worldwide. GTI, also located in Fredericton, supplies custom tank and lagoon covers. Lange Containment, which is based in Denver, Colorado, USA, is a fabricator and installer of geomembranes and other geosynthetic liners.
“The acquisition by Evoqua, an established world leader in water treatment, will allow these companies to continue growing on a global scale,” said Hazen Hawker, CEO of ADI Group Inc.
