There are two Donaldson Blue fuel filters available - the DBF5811 for 15 liter engines and the DBF6776 for 11.9 liter ISX engines.
Both act as a last line of defence against damaging contaminants in diesel fuel, Donaldson says its Synteq XP nanofiber media delivers class-leading contaminant capture and containment which helps avoid premature fuel system wear and injector failures, resulting in expensive repairs.
“Cleaner fuel can have a real impact on a truck owner’s bottom line. Offering a higher level of injector protection helps to keep trucks in service and on the road, reducing the occurrence of expensive repairs,” said Jeff Stierman, general manager of the Liquid Filtration Business at Donaldson.
Synteq XP media uses resin-free fiber bonding which Donaldson says delivers 99% efficiency in removing contaminants of four microns or larger.
