The 108 000 sq ft facility, which employs 55 people, produces heavy-duty air filters for both the on-road and off-road equipment markets. The plant is already expanding and will begin producing liquid filters later this fiscal year to help meet the growing OEM and aftermarket demand within the region.
“This new manufacturing facility represents a significant investment in our future growth plans and our continued focus of supporting our global customers locally,” said Wim Vermeersch, Donaldson’s vice president Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Donaldson’s other Eastern European locations include a distribution centre in Bratislava, Slovakia and manufacturing plants in Klášterec and Kadan, Czech Republic. Globally, Donaldson has 42 manufacturing plants in 26 countries and 22 distribution centres in 18 countries.
