Directa Plus awarded new patent for air filtration market

G+ graphene has huge potential in the air filtration market due to its antibacterial and antiviral qualities that maintain filter cleanliness, particularly during and after the filtering process.

Directa Plus has been working with its industrial partner, a global chemicals and materials company, on an exclusive basis since December 2021 to develop specific products for the global air and water filtration markets. The latest product, which uses G+ as a novel antimicrobial solution for air conditioning units, will be showcased at Index 2023 in Geneva in April.

“Being awarded this new patent in the air filtration market demonstrates the breadth and depth of our graphene technology that can be used across a range of potential high growth markets,” said Giulio Cesareo, founder and CEO of Directa Plus. “This partnership and the newly developed and patented product is a clear response to the growing activity in the global air and water filtration markets and the demand for higher performant products. We are excited about the opportunity in front of us as we enter this expanding market.”
