Camfil opens AMC air filter regeneration service center in Taiwan

Camfil has inaugurated a new airborne molecular contamination (AMC) air filter regeneration service center in Chiayi, Taiwan.

Located in Chiayi’s Machouhou Industrial Park, the 10,000 sq m state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the rigorous demands of the semiconductor industry. The center is expected to create 300 jobs.

At the opening ceremony, Camfil's CEO Mark Simmons emphasized the company’s leadership in the semiconductor industry. "We chose Chiayi for its strategic advantages, the proximity to our major semiconductor customers allows us to collaborate more effectively and closely," said Simmons.

Camfil established Camfil Taiwan Co Ltd in Taipei in 2003, providing clean air solutions across multiple sectors, including semiconductors, life sciences, healthcare, petrochemicals, commercial applications, industrial dust filtration and gas turbine machinery. With the rapid growth of the semiconductor and AI industries, Camfil Taiwan has become a leader in the semiconductor chemical air filters market.
