The key product lines included in the agreement are Berry Plastics’ Everist and Arium components and composites, part of the company’s recently completed Avintiv (formerly PGI) acquisition.
DelStar Technologies, which is part of Schweitzer-Maudit International Inc, manufactures thermoplastic nets, nonwovens, laminates and extruded components.
Everist and Arium products can be combined with other products, such as Berry Plastics’ Reemay and Typar, as well as DelStar’s Delnet and DelPore to create specialty composites for high-performance filtration applications.
