BakerCorp has completed its largest ever project at an EPA Superfund site.
The project, on the Duwamish River in Seattle, included a large-scale, non-chemical treatment solution for over 63 million gallons of water.
Acting as the project’s onsite single-source vendor, BakerCorp developed, engineered and managed a complete solution, using its treatment solutions, filtration systems, tanks, pumps and all necessary interconnects.
“We are excited to be part of the clean-up solution for the Duwamish River,” said Mehrzad Emanuel, vice president of filtration at BakerCorp. “We created an adaptable and mobile onsite solution that effectively removed contaminants from a complex water source that will result in a safe and usable river.”
Superfund sites have been identified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for cleanup because they pose a risk to human health and/or the environment.
