Dr Wilderer most recently served as CEO of De Nora Water Technologies, a global provider of disinfection and filtration technologies. Prior to De Nora, Dr Wilderer was general manager at Evoqua Water Technologies. She started her career at Siemens AG as a strategy consultant and held positions in Germany, China, Thailand, Indonesia, the US and South Africa.

Rob Craw, who has led the company since he founded it in 2015, will transition to the role of executive chairman of the company’s board of directors. Craw will partner with Dr Wilderer in this next chapter of the company to capture new growth and strategic partnership opportunities.

“I am honored to join AqueoUS Vets and work alongside Rob and the Bain Capital Double Impact team to drive our company’s next phase of growth and innovation,” said Dr Wilderer. “We’re at an inflection point where our country’s water infrastructure requires significant investment, technical expertise, and above all, a strong commitment to ensuring every community has access to clean water.”

Under Craw’s leadership, AqueoUS Vets has grown to become a premier national provider of water treatment systems, serving the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power, Orange County Water District, and the City of Anaheim in California. The company has also demonstrated a commitment and ability to reduce contaminants, including per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in the US water system. Most recently, AqueoUS Vets acquired Jacksonville-based Dixie Tank Company to expand its pressure vessel manufacturing and refurbishment capabilities to better serve a variety of customers on the East Coast.

“I welcome Dr Wilderer to AqueoUS Vets as our new president and CEO. Her extensive experience working with various stakeholders worldwide to design and implement innovative water systems will be invaluable for guiding AqueoUS Vets’ growth and impact aspirations,” said Craw. “Leading this company and bringing our team together with a unified vision to create a positive impact on both the industry and the environment has been the thrill of my life, and I am so pleased to continue in this new role.”

AqueoUS Vets is a vertically integrated manufacturer of treatment systems used to address emerging contaminants in groundwater such as PFAS, 1,2,3-TCP, TOC, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), fuels, chrome 6, and arsenic, among others.
