Dayan will remain as the CEO and on the board of directors until a replacement is found and a handover has been completed.
“After thoughtful consideration I have taken this decision to step down as the CEO of the company. In my 16 years at the company, seven of those as chief executive, it has been my privilege to lead Amiad and see it become a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions,” said Dayan.
Eli Opper, chairman of Amiad, said: “On behalf of the board of directors and the whole of Amiad, we thank Arik for his exemplary service to the company over the last two decades. We are sorry to see him leave and we wish him all the best for the future.”
