The Ahlstrom Louveira plant, which produces transportation filtration material, is located approximately 100 kms from Sao Paolo in southeastern Brazil, an area that has been hit by severe floods and mudslides following torrential rain.
Production has been stopped at the filtration facility. Ahlstrom has already started the clean-up process.
