UK-based Aycliffe Filtration Ltd (AFL) has announced it has been awarded ISO 9001 quality management certification.
The company has been working with an experienced quality management consultant to ensure its procedures and processes met the global standard. Now that AFL has achieved the UKAS-accredited standard it joins more than one million organisations around the world which use the ISO 9001 mark to show their commitment to quality.
Managing director, David Franks said: “We’re proud to have achieved ISO 9001 and to display the mark. This allows us to demonstrate to existing and prospective customers our commitment to quality. We had many of the required procedures in place already but applying for ISO 9001 imposed an extra layer of discipline on us, ensuring processes and procedures are carried out consistently at all times. In addition, we looked at all aspects of the business to see where we could improve.”
AFL, based in Darlington in the UK, manufactures and supplies premium filtration products for a wide range of processes and applications. The company recently celebrated its tenth anniversary and has 25 years of filtration manufacturing expertise.
