Polypore’s Separations Media business, which has annual global sales of approximately US$210 million, provides membranes and modules for blood treatments, ultrafiltration and gas transfer in the life science, electronic, industrial and specialty segments.
3M says that adding Polypore’s Separations Media business builds on its fundamental strengths in technology, manufacturing, global capabilities and brand.
The Polypore Separations Media business will now become part of the 3M Membranes business unit within 3M’s Industrial Business Group.
